Privacy Policy
Fieldamigo builds and hosts CRM software for service businesses. Most of the data in it isn't ours and isn't about you — it belongs to the business using the software. This page explains what we hold, who it belongs to, who else touches it, and how long it stays.
Two different relationships
Almost every question about privacy here depends on which of these you are:
- A visitor to fieldamigo.com. We collect almost nothing. See “Our website” below.
- A Fieldamigo customer — a business running the CRM. Your data is yours; we hold it to run the service for you.
- A customer of a business that uses Fieldamigo. If a cleaning company or electrician has your details in their Fieldamigo CRM, that information belongs to them, not to us. We hold it on their behalf and act on their instructions. To see, correct or delete it, contact that business directly — they control it and can export or remove it themselves.
Our website
fieldamigo.com uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first by design: it sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not store IP addresses. We see aggregate counts — page views, referring sites, browser and country — and nothing that identifies you.
We removed our own visitor-tracking system in July 2026 and deleted the data it had collected. It stored IP addresses, and we decided that wasn't a reasonable thing to hold for a page-view count.
If you email us or fill in a contact form, we keep what you send so we can reply.
What the CRM holds
When a business runs Fieldamigo, the software stores what a field-service business needs to operate. Depending on which modules are switched on, that can include:
- Customer and property records — names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, notes
- Jobs, schedules, quotes, estimates and invoices
- Photographs taken on site, and documents attached to jobs
- Signatures captured on customer sign-off or safety forms
- Staff accounts, roles, timestamps and, where enabled, mileage and route data
- Payment records — amounts, methods and dates (card and bank details are handled by Stripe, never stored by us)
- Where the bookkeeping module is enabled, income and expense entries the business records
The business owns all of it. Our customer agreements say so explicitly, and that doesn't change if the relationship ends or an invoice is disputed. Customers can export their data themselves, at any time, without asking us.
What we do with it
We use customer data only to:
- run, host, back up and support the service
- do what the customer asks us to do — for example, sending an invoice to their QuickBooks company
- comply with the law
We do not sell it. We do not use it for advertising. We do not use one customer's data to benefit another, and we do not mine it to train anything.
QuickBooks Online
Customers can optionally connect their Fieldamigo instance to their QuickBooks Online company. When they do:
- The connection is one-way. We send customers, invoices and cleared payments into QuickBooks. We do not pull their accounting data back out, and we do not read their books.
- Nothing is written until an administrator has confirmed which QuickBooks company is connected and has explicitly started syncing.
- The access token QuickBooks issues is encrypted at rest in that customer's own database.
- A customer can revoke our access at any moment by disconnecting the integration, which stops all further writes immediately.
Intuit's handling of data inside QuickBooks is governed by Intuit's own privacy policy, not ours.
Who else touches the data
We use a small number of service providers to run Fieldamigo. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:
| Provider | What for |
|---|---|
| Hetzner | Servers and hosting, in United States facilities |
| Cloudflare | DNS, network security, and website analytics |
| Intuit | QuickBooks Online integration, where a customer enables it |
| Stripe | Card and bank payment processing, where enabled. Stripe handles card details directly — we never see or store them |
| Email delivery | Sending transactional email such as invoices and appointment reminders |
We remain responsible for how these providers handle customer data. If we add or change one in a way that materially affects how data is processed, we tell our customers.
How we protect it
- Separate instances. Each customer runs on their own application instance with their own database. One customer's data is not co-mingled with another's.
- Encryption in transit. All access to the service is over TLS.
- Encrypted credentials. Third-party access tokens and two-factor secrets are encrypted at rest.
- Least privilege. The application connects to its database using a restricted role rather than an administrative one.
- Two-factor authentication is available on administrator accounts.
- Backups. Daily backups including an encrypted off-site copy, and we periodically test that they actually restore.
No system is perfectly secure, and we won't pretend otherwise. If a security incident affects a customer's data, we notify that customer promptly — our customer agreements commit us to doing so within 72 hours of confirming it.
How long we keep it
We hold customer data for as long as the customer uses the service. After an agreement ends, a customer has 30 days to take a full export, and we'll help with the transition. After that window we delete their instance and their data from our active systems. Residual copies age out of backup rotation afterwards.
If you are a customer of a business using Fieldamigo and want your details removed, ask that business — they can delete records themselves, and they decide what to keep.
Children
Fieldamigo is business software. It isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and we'll tell our customers directly about anything that materially affects how their data is handled.

Questions about this policy, or about data held in a specific Fieldamigo instance, are welcome — though if you're a customer of a business that uses Fieldamigo, that business will be able to help you faster than we can.
