DASHBOARD

The four questions you ask every morning, answered before you've put the cup down.

§01

Four Numbers, Then the Detail

Most dashboards are a wall of charts nobody reads twice. This one answers the questions an owner actually asks at 6:40 in the morning.
§02

And Then What Needs You

A number is only useful if the thing it's telling you about is one click away.
The admin dashboard: four figures across the top for jobs today, crew on shift, outstanding and month revenue, then the day's work on a map beside a docket grouped by state — pending, en route, on site, wrapping up — and an inbox of new leads below
Plate 06 Four figures, the day on a map, the docket by state. Demo data.
  • 01 Today's board, grouped by state. What's unassigned, what's out, what's done — so the gap between "scheduled" and "actually happening" is visible at a glance instead of at 4pm.
  • 02 The inbox. New leads that came in overnight and customer messages nobody has read yet, in one place. These are the two things that cost you money by sitting.
  • 03 The day on a map. Today's jobs as points, so a route that doubles back on itself is obvious before anyone drives it.

The page fires its four requests at once rather than in sequence, so it fills in quickly on a bad connection — which matters, because the person opening it is often standing in a driveway.

§03

Where It Stops

Every page here has one of these. It's the part you should read first.

Plainly

The map shows jobs, not people. Points are the day's work at its addresses. It is not a live view of where your technicians currently are, because we don't track them — see the same note on Mileage.

It's a supervisor's screen. Admins and dispatchers only. Technicians have the phone UI, which shows them their own work and not the shop's finances.

It's an operations view, not a business-intelligence suite. No custom report builder, no cohort analysis, no drag-your-own-chart. If you want a number this doesn't show, that's a conversation and we quote it flat (how custom work is priced) — which is generally faster than learning someone's report designer.

Addresses need to be geocodable for the map. A job with a vague or mistyped address still appears everywhere else; it just won't land on the map.

What do you check every morning?

Tell us on the call. If it's a number this doesn't show yet, that's exactly the kind of thing we build into your instance — quoted flat, up front.
